Punjab Finance Minister Mian Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman has dubbed PTI founder “a charsi” during debate on provincial budget in the assembly on Saturday.
The finance minister fed up of Opposition leaders’ criticism of his budget speech, said “I don’t smoke charas like your leader.”
In reaction, Leader of the Opposition in Punjab Assembly Moin Riaz Qureshi, who belongs to the PTI, smilingly said “We showed him the mirror and he got angry.”
Moin Riaz Qureshi further said the minister has named every project in the name of his leadership. “They say don’t make political speeches. Until there is political stability in the country, the country will not make progress,” he added.
The PTI leader said the Speaker should explain to him what is the etiquette of sitting in the government. “He wants to boycott, do it,” he added.
Qureshi said “There is an objection to our leader’s image which is our red line.”
