IT Minister Shaza Fatima held a meeting with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to discuss global challenges, including the governance of artificial intelligence, it was reported on Tuesday.
The meeting focused on strengthening Pakistan’s global ties and cooperation on emerging international issues.
Officials said the two sides held a special discussion on AI governance and the need for coordinated global efforts to manage new technologies.
Guterres acknowledged Pakistan’s leadership and peace efforts.
He said Pakistan’s role in global and regional stability was commendable.
