In connection with the elections to the Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly due to be held later this month, Jamaat-e-Islami has intensified its election activities and has fielded 36 candidates under the slogan of implementing Nizam-e-Mustafa (peace be upon him), it was reported on Wednesday.
Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Ameer Dr Muhammad Mushtaq Khan is campaigning from Jhelum Valley constituency number 6.
Brigadier Professor Dr Muhammad Khan from Central Bagh, Habibullah Butt from Neelum Upper and Sahir Hussain from Neelum Lower are running a vigorous election campaign.
Raja Asad Rahmani from Muzaffarabad city, Abdul Samad Advocate from Kotla, Syed Ali Imad Islam Advocate from Leepa and Imtiaz Hashmi from Garhi Dupatta are active in the election campaign.
Sardar Qazi Sajid Chughtai from Sharqi Bagh, Safdar Hameed Mir from Haveli, Sardar Safir Alam from Abbaspur and Sardar Adnan Razaq from Rawalakot city are continuing their election campaign.
Sardar Arshad Nadeem Advocate from Pallandri, Sardar Habib Khan from Tararkhal, Gul Nawazur Rehman from Sahansa, Shafiq Khan from Kotli city are active in the election field.
Habibur Rehman Afaqi from Khoi Ratta, Raja Idrees Advocate from Dadial, Maulana Atiqur Rehman from Mirpur city, Engineer Hafiz Raja Abdul Sattar from Bhimber city are continuing their election campaign.
Jamaat-e-Islami candidates including Malik Ilyas from Barnala, Raja Altaf from Khari Sharif are running a vigorous election campaign on the Muhajir seats of Jammu and the Valley.
According to Central Information Secretary Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Kashmir Raja Zakir, all the nominated candidates are running the election campaign with full force.
They are seeking votes from the people with the agenda of changing the outdated system, implementing the Nizam-e-Mustafa (PBUH) and implementing their manifesto.
