PbBC unveils Online Complaint Portal to facilitate lawyers, clients

Punjab Bar Council (PbBC) unveiled the “Complaint Portal” after the successful launch of the “Lawyers Verification Portal” to facilitate clients and lawyers, it was reported on Saturday.

The decision was taken during a meeting presided over by Chairman IT Committee Fakhar Hayat Awan, while other members Chaudhry Mohammad Mushtaq, Chaudhry Qaisar Mushtaq, Chaudhry Talat Hussain and Mian Imran Pasha were also present during the meeting.

Punjab Bar Council Vice-Chairman Chaudhry Qaisar Nazir, Ahmad Sahi and Chairman Executive Committee Chaudhry Arshad Ali Hinjra also attended the meeting specially.

The lawyers and clients will submit their complaints and applications through this portal. The objective of this initiative is to make the process of complaint registration, receipt, and timely access to relevant legal forums easier, more effective, and transparent.

With the activation of the online system, lawyers and litigants will no longer need to visit the Punjab Bar Council office repeatedly; instead, they will be able to track the progress of their applications from the comfort of their homes.

During the meeting, Vice Chairman Chaudhry Qaisar Nazir Ahmed Sahi and Executive Committee Chairman Chaudhry Arshad Ali Hanjra commended the IT Committee’s efforts, stating that aligning the Punjab Bar Council with modern technology is a crucial need of the hour.

They remarked that the launch of this portal represents a positive and praiseworthy step towards ensuring transparency, improved administrative services, and an effective grievance redressal system within the Punjab Bar Council.
