The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has launched an operation against illegal housing schemes along Sundar-Raiwind Road and Multan Road, Lahore, demolishing structures belonging to six schemes, it was reported on Monday.
The operation targeted Mashallah Villas, an illegal subdivision near Mal Pind, Daman City, Maraka Marketing, Maraka Homes, Maraka City, and New Lahore City.
During the operation, the LDA demolished boundary walls, offices, roads, and other structures associated with the six illegal housing schemes.
LDA Director General said indiscriminate action against illegal housing schemes and illegal commercial activities was ongoing.
