Young musicians of Surtaal Kids Band are set to make their first public concert appearances as the opening act for Pakistani singer Asim Azhar’s upcoming The Asim Ali Tour.
Taking to Instagram, Asim shared a video from his visit to Surtaal Music Academy in Lahore, where he spent time with the children. Recalling their earlier invitation, the singer said that the young performers had called him to join them with so much love, and now he was inviting them to be part of his tour.
The announcement means the children will get to perform before Asim takes the stage at the upcoming concerts. In his message, the singer encouraged them and promised that he would personally enjoy their performances before going on stage for his own set.
During the visit, Asim also shared a teaser at the children’s request before joining them for a musical session. He was seen singing alongside the young performers, matching their rhythm and enjoying the moment with them.
Expressing his excitement about having the children as his opening act, Asim wrote, “I could not have asked for a better opening act for my tour.” He also encouraged them, saying, “Bohat acha karenge aap log bacho, mai khud apni performance se pehle apki performance enjoy karuga!” (You children will do great. I will personally enjoy your performance before going on stage for mine.)
Surtaal Kids Band will begin its tour appearances in Faisalabad on November 6, followed by Lahore on November 7 and Islamabad on November 8. The concerts will mark the young musicians’ first public performances, giving them an opportunity to showcase their talent on a major stage.
Asim’s invitation has turned what began as a musical interaction at the academy into an exciting opportunity for the children to perform in front of live audiences.
