Pakistani actress Zara Noor Abbas has caught fans attention with a thought provoking Instagram Story in which she expressed feeling bored with society and its expectations.
Sharing a passage from a book on her Instagram account, Zara highlighted a reflective line about someone feeling equally confused by love, bored with society, tired of performing and hungry for meaning.
Adding her own reaction, the actress wrote, “Bored by society, I swear!”
The passage also touched upon workplace bullying, power dynamics and human behaviour, discussing how people sometimes act aggressively when they feel threatened or when their competence is questioned.
Zara’s choice to share the excerpt has prompted interest in the message behind her post, although she did not explain what specifically inspired it.
