The polling process to elect the 14th president of Pakistan has commenced. Co-Chairperson of PPP Asif Ali Zardari is facing off against the chief of the Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) and the Sunni Ittehad Council’s (SIC) candidate Mahmood Khan Achakzai.
Islamabad High Court (IHC) Chief Justice Aamer Farooq is the presiding office for the presidential elections.
Polling commenced at 10am and will continue till 4pm.
