Electronic Media Reporters Association (EMRA), this Ramadan again, took care of the journalists’ community.
EMRA, in collaboration with Pakistan Tehreek Ittehad Party Chairman Ch Aurangzeb, Ar-Rehman Garden, Al-Kabeer Town, Bismillah Housing Society, Ar-Raheem Garden, Zam Zam Garden, Kings Town, SA Gardens, Rizq Foundation, Anjuman Arthian Mandian Punjab President Mian Faisal Majeed and other philanthropists, sponsored the journalists throughout Ramadan.
EMRA President M Asif Butt expanded his philanthropic activities and also included the Islamabad Press club, Multan EMRA Body, Rahimyar Khan EMRA, Shakar Garh Press Club and Vehari EMRA Body in his plan to help the journalists of these areas.
EMRA kept distributing ration and vegetables among its workers and others. Grand iftaris are being arranged at EMRA Center and people are enjoying colourful gatherings during the blessed month.
Pakistan Tehreek Ittehad Chairman Ch Aurangzeb and owner of Al-Kabeer Town and Kings Town Ahmed Chaudhry have also sponsored the EMRA Ramadan cricket series and double wicket tournament. Under EMRA Ramadan cricket series, friendly matches will be played among the office-bearers of EMRA Lahore, Lahore Press Club, PFUJ and PUJ and 36 teams of different news channels will take part in double-wicket tournament.
EMRA President Asif Butt also distributed cash and unstitched suits among the employees of EMRA Center and Lahore Press Club. Rizq Foundation, through EMRA, also distributed gifts among the employees and security guards of Punjab Sports Board.
