At the emergency meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Pakistan took a firm stand against Israel’s so-called ‘Greater Israel’ plan, warning it posed a grave threat to peace in the region.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar denounced the continued bombardment of Gaza, highlighting the deaths of tens of thousands of children and the worsening humanitarian crisis.
Dar urged the global community to act decisively, calling for an unconditional and permanent ceasefire, immediate humanitarian access to besieged Palestinians, and a two-state solution based on pre-1967 borders.
Pakistan also expressed solidarity with Arab states and condemned Israeli attacks on schools, hospitals, and refugee camps in violation of international law.
