Federal Information Minister Ataullah Tarar said on Saturday that after having suffered defeat at the hands of Pakistan in the Operation Sindoor, India had resorted to a campaign of misinformation and disinformation, it was reported.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad with Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaundry sitting alongside him, Tarar said that Indian intelligence agencies arrested a fisherman named Ijaz Mallah and send him to Pakistan with a task.
“And when Mallah purchased uniforms of Pakistan Army, Rangers and Navy, Pakistani agencies were alerted and they started his surveillance. Finally, he was caught by the coastguards while crossing into India,” he said, adding, “When interrogated, the fisherman confessed that he had been hired by Indian intelligence agencies.”
