Pakistan sends back 11,600 more refugees to Afghanistan

The process of repatriation of Afghan refugees continued at a rapid pace as around 11,600 Afghan refugees were sent back to Afghanistan in a dignified manner on Wednesday, it was reported on Thursday.

According to official figures, about 1.696 million Afghan refugees have returned home so far.

Allowance to cross the border is being given to each person only after verification of their documents.

The return of Afghan refugees is being done under legal procedures.

Pakistan has taken the initiative to return Afghan refugees keeping in mind its national security.

The FC and civil administration are not only providing accommodation but also food for Afghan refugees.

Due to the Afghan war and civil war, Pakistan hosted Afghans for 40 years and set a great example.

This initiative is a strong foundation of mutual respect in Pak-Afghan relations.

Now it will not be possible for Afghans to enter Pakistan without a passport and visa.
