Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) issued an election schedule for the vacant general seat of late Senator Irfan Siddiqui, it was reported on Monday.
According to details, polling will be held on November 22, 2025. The candidates can file their nomination papers from November 20 to 21.
The last date for submission of appeals for approval or rejection of the candidates will be submitted till November 27, 2025.
The tribunals will announce the verdict on appeals on November 29, 20225. The list of scrutinized candidates will be released on November 29, 2025.
The candidates can take back their nomination papers till December 1, 2025. Polling for the Senate seat will be held on December 9, 2025, from 9 am to 4 pm.
The polling will be held in the Punjab Assembly, Lahore.
