The Lahore High Court (LHC) has given a clean chit to several civil judges after ending departmental inquiries against them following an approval given by the high court Chief Justice (CJ) Aalia Neelum and members of the administrative committee, it was reported on Wednesday.
The inquiry that was underway against Civil Judge Atif Rasheed Khan Niazi has been ended.
Similarly, inquiries against civil judges Malik Mukhtar Akbar, Nasira Muneer and Saiqa Younus have also been ended, hence dropping all charges against them.
It has been learnt that inquiries were ended after going through the reports compiled by inquiry committees.
Copies of the decision have been dispatched to the federal and provincial departments.
Copies have also been sent to all sessions judges and other concerned officials.
