Mandatory Hajj 2026 training for pilgrims begins January 1

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that the first phase of mandatory training for Hajj 2026 pilgrims will commence on January 1 in Islamabad, a ministry spokesperson confirmed. The training schedule is being shared through the mobile app Pak Hajj 2026, SMS notifications, and is also available on the official website of the Ministry.

One-day training programs will be held in phases across the country at the tehsil level until February. In the initial days, pilgrims will receive training in Abbottabad on January 2, followed by Ghotki, Thatta, and Kotli in Azad Kashmir on January 3. On January 4, sessions will be held in Mirpur (Azad Kashmir), Tando Muhammad Khan, and Khairpur in Sindh, while January 5 will cover Rawalakot, Badin, and Nowshera Feroze in Azad Kashmir. Training for pilgrims from Fateh Jang, Dadu, and Tharparkar (Mithi) is scheduled for January 6, and Umerkot, Larkana, and Haripur on January 7. On January 8, sessions will be conducted in Mirpur Khas, Shahdadkot, and Mansehra.

The Ministry has instructed pilgrims to carry their original identity cards along with the computerized receipt of their Hajj application and to attend the training strictly according to their assigned schedule. Participation in these programs is mandatory to ensure that all pilgrims are well-prepared for their journey.
