NA Speaker Ayaz Sadiq calls on Bangladesh Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus

Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq met Chief Adviser of Bangladesh Professor Muhammad Yunus and offered his condolences on the sad demise of former prime minister Begum Khaleda Zia.

According to the spokesperson of the Pakistani High Commission in Bangladesh, Yunus thanked the Pakistani leadership and the people of Pakistan for expressing solidarity with the brotherly people of Bangladesh in this moment of deep sorrow. Both leaders paid tribute to the tall political position of Begum Khaleda Zia and described her as a distinguished political leader.

They acknowledged that Begum Khaleda Zia’s steadfastness and her contribution to democratic development was recognised and appreciated all over the world, including Bangladesh. During the meeting, her unwavering commitment to public service was also appreciated, and it was noted that thanks to this commitment, positive and lasting changes have taken place in the lives of millions of Bangladeshi people citizens.
