Nadia Hussain Khan has showered praise on the play Case No 9, calling it a powerful and emotionally gripping production that left a lasting impact on her.
Taking to her Instagram handle, the veteran model and actress shared glimpses from the play along with an enthusiastic and heartfelt note expressing her admiration.
Beginning her post with an excited “WOW!!!!!!!!!!”, Nadia wrote that she was overwhelmed by what she witnessed on stage.
“I have no words to explain my feelings towards how happy I am to see such an amazing Pakistani play Case No 9!!!” she said, highlighting the growing strength of theatre in Pakistan.
Nadia went on to commend every major aspect of the production, praising the script, direction, and overall production quality.
She described the play as a beautifully woven narrative that tackled complex themes with depth and sensitivity, without overstatement or exaggeration.
The actress heaped special praise on the cast’s performances, calling them “unmatched and powerful.”
She applauded Saba Qamar and Faysal Quraishi for their commanding presence, while also appreciating the impactful performances of Mirza Gohar, Aamina Sheikh, Hina Khwaja Bayat, and other actors who brought the story to life.
Reflecting on the storyline, Nadia noted how Case No 9 skillfully explored critical social and legal issues. “From laws to the importance of evidence, from unfortunate circumstances to the might of resolve, from societal pressures to the bonding of families and friends, and eventually vindication against injustice,” she wrote, describing the play as a true emotional rollercoaster.
She emphasized that the narrative was so thoughtfully portrayed that “nothing more, nothing less was needed to be said,” praising the balance and clarity with which the message was delivered.
