UK Special Envoy to Afghanistan Richard Lindsay, who arrived in Pakistan on Tuesday, went to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and met with Pakistan’s Special Representative Muhammad Sadiq Khan.
Diplomatic sources told the 24News TV channel that regional security situation came under discussion at the meeting.
Sadiq took Lindsay into confidence on the challenge emanating from the attacks being carried out in Pakistan from across the border in Afghanistan.
During his stay, Lindsay would also hold meetings with other Pakistani officials.
Travelling to Afghanistan is also part of the UK’s special envoy’s trip.
