The much-anticipated horror film Ragini MMS 3, starring Tamannaah Bhatia, has hit an unexpected roadblock after director Sahir Raza exited the project. Reports indicate that Raza’s departure was due to scheduling conflicts with his ongoing role as showrunner for a Netflix series, which requires his daily presence on set.
Variety India reported that this sudden exit has left the film’s production timeline uncertain. While Ektaa Kapoor’s team is actively seeking a replacement director, no official start date has been announced for the third installment of the popular franchise.
Despite the delay, Tamannaah remains busy with multiple projects. She will next be seen in O’ Romeo alongside Shahid Kapoor, with the action thriller set to premiere on February 13, 2026. She also stars in V. Shantaram, playing Jayashree, the second wife of a legendary filmmaker, and in Vvan with Sidharth Malhotra, set in central India and inspired by Hindu mythology.
Additionally, Tamannaah will co-star with John Abraham in Rohit Shetty’s biographical action film Purushan, portraying Preeti Maria, the wife of former Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria.
