The Saudi cabinet has approved several agreements aimed at expanding cooperation with Pakistan in important sectors, reaffirming the Kingdom’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
The decisions were taken during a cabinet meeting chaired by Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman in Riyadh. The meeting focused on enhancing collaboration in security, health, and administrative fields through new partnerships between relevant ministries of both countries.
One of the key approvals allows the signing of an agreement between the Saudi Ministry of Interior and Pakistan’s Interior Ministry to promote scientific, training, and research cooperation. The initiative is expected to strengthen the exchange of expertise and improve coordination in security and administrative matters.
The cabinet also approved agreements between the health ministries of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan to enhance cooperation in regulation, coordination, and medical services. Officials believe this partnership could support improvements in healthcare systems, policymaking, and medical facilities in both countries.
During the session, the Saudi leadership also reviewed regional and global developments and once again expressed its determination to further deepen ties with Pakistan. Observers say the latest agreements reflect growing cooperation between the two nations and could open new opportunities for collaboration in multiple sectors in the future.
