Global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas is set to return to the iconic Oscars stage as a presenter at the 98th Academy Awards. The announcement was made by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on Thursday, revealing her among a star-studded lineup including Hollywood icons Robert Downey Jr. and Anne Hathaway.

Chopra Jonas, 43, shared the news on Instagram with a simple caption: “The 2026 Academy Awards.” She is no stranger to the Oscars, having previously presented an award in 2016. Over her career, she has also appeared at other major global events including the Golden Globe Awards and the Primetime Emmy Awards.

This year’s Oscars ceremony, scheduled for 15 March 2026 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, promises to be historic. The film Sinners has received 16 nominations, breaking the previous record of 14 held by films such as Titanic and La La Land.

Apart from her Oscars role, Chopra Jonas continues to expand her global film career. She was recently seen in The Bluff and will next appear in Varanasi, directed by S. S. Rajamouli, marking her first project in Telugu cinema.

Earlier, Priyanka Chopra Jonas has shared a major update about her much-awaited film Varanasi. The actress confirmed that the team will shoot the next schedule in Antarctica. Earlier, the makers filmed key scenes in the African grasslands. Now, they plan to move to the frozen continent for the next phase of production.
