‘Neki kar reel pe daal’, Internet trolls Ahsan Khan after good deed video

A seemingly simple act of kindness by Pakistani actor Ahsan Khan has taken over social media after a video showed him helping an elderly street vendor push a heavily loaded vegetable cart across a busy road, but while many praised the gesture, others couldn’t resist turning the moment into a meme fest.

The viral clip shows the actor stepping forward to assist an older vendor struggling to move his wooden pushcart filled with vegetables through traffic.

Instead of merely passing by, Khan grabs hold of the cart and helps guide it across the street, coordinating with the vendor until they safely reach the other side.

The scene unfolds on a lively urban street lined with shops and apartment buildings, with traffic moving in the background.

The cart itself is stacked with fresh produce including tomatoes, lemons, onions and leafy greens, while a traditional weighing scale sits on top.

While the moment appears genuine and heartwarming, the internet reacted in its own characteristic way.

Many users appreciated the effort, but the comment section quickly filled with witty remarks questioning whether the good deed was spontaneous or staged.

One user joked, “Bhai ny proper shoot krwaya hai.”

Another reminded about welcome movie scene, “Subah sy na bika hai ek aloo or na adha kandha ,Welcome movie scene!”

Others chimed in with playful sarcasm such as “Lights, camera, neki take 1, action,” and “Neki kar reel pe daal.”

Despite the humour, several commenters also defended the actor, saying that a good deed should still be appreciated regardless of whether it was filmed.

One comment summed up the sentiment by writing, “It’s not about the size of the reel, it’s about the intention. Allah qabool farmaay.”

For those unfamiliar, Ahsan Khan is one of Pakistan’s most recognised television stars, known for his versatility across drama, hosting and film.

Beginning his acting career in the late 1990s, he gradually built a strong presence on television through popular dramas such as Udaari, Qayamat, and Meray Humnasheen.

Apart from acting, Khan has also gained popularity as a television host, particularly through Ramadan transmissions and talk shows where his easy-going personality has helped him connect with audiences across the country.

Over the years, he has received multiple accolades including Lux Style Awards and Hum Awards, cementing his place as one of Pakistan’s most consistent entertainers.
