Young Pakistani actor Shees Sajjad Gul, who played the role of Rumi in the popular drama Mere Paas Tum Ho, has shared his honest opinion about the widely celebrated show.
In a candid interview, the former child star revealed that he personally did not enjoy the drama as much as many viewers did. According to Shees, the series felt somewhat generic and received more hype than it deserved.
“It was a generic drama and it got a bit too overhyped,” he said while reflecting on the project that brought him nationwide recognition.
Shees also admitted that his role did not require much acting effort at the time. He explained that he mostly memorized his lines and delivered them, adding that he even considered himself “overhyped” because of the immense attention he received after the drama aired.
