Special congregations were held across Pakistan today to mark Jumu’atul Wida, the final Friday of the holy month of Ramadan. Mosques in major cities and small towns alike witnessed large gatherings of worshippers who came together to offer Friday prayers with deep religious devotion and reflection.
During the (Friday prayers), special supplications were made for Pakistan’s progress, prosperity, and stability. Worshippers also prayed for unity, peace, and well-being among Muslims around the world, emphasizing the collective strength of the Muslim Ummah during these spiritually significant days.
Religious scholars and prayer leaders delivered sermons highlighting the importance and virtues of Jumu’atul Wida. They encouraged people to seek forgiveness, strengthen their faith, and continue practicing the values of compassion, patience, and generosity beyond Ramadan. The sermons also stressed the importance of unity and social harmony within society.
In light of the large gatherings, strict security arrangements were put in place nationwide to ensure the safety of citizens. Law enforcement agencies remained on high alert, and additional personnel were deployed around mosques and sensitive areas.
Meanwhile, large numbers of people also participated in Al-Quds Day rallies held in various cities. These rallies were organized to express solidarity with the people of Palestine and to raise awareness about their ongoing struggles, making the day both spiritually and politically significant.
