Netflix rolls out 20+ new titles in first week of April

A new wave of OTT content is set to arrive during the first week of April (April 2–8), with multiple platforms releasing a mix of international dramas, thrillers, comedies, and documentaries. Streaming services continue to dominate viewer preferences, as a growing majority of audiences now choose on-demand content over traditional television.

Leading the lineup is XO, Kitty Season 3, which returns with its final chapter set in Seoul. The series follows the lead character as she navigates relationships, friendships, and key life decisions, continuing its popularity among global audiences across multiple regions.

Several other titles are also scheduled for release on the same day, reflecting the expanding diversity of OTT content. These include Agent From Above, a fantasy drama that blends modern storytelling with folklore-inspired elements, and Sins of Kujo, a legal drama that explores moral dilemmas alongside crime-related narratives.

The Korean action sequel Bloodhounds 2 is also part of this week’s releases, bringing back high-intensity fight sequences and continuing the genre’s strong global appeal. Similarly, High Tides Season 3 concludes its storyline with emotional developments and character-driven conflicts, contributing to the growing popularity of European dramas on streaming platforms.

From the South Asian content segment, titles such as Vadh 2 highlight crime and survival themes set in a prison environment. The film continues the trend of thriller-based storytelling that remains widely consumed on OTT platforms.

Additional releases include Maamla Legal Hai Season 2, a courtroom comedy featuring humorous legal scenarios, and Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, which introduces a refreshed narrative approach with a road-trip format. Family-oriented content such as Sitaare Zameen Par and Maa Ka Sum further expands the range of genres available to viewers.

Regional and niche content is also gaining traction, with productions like Sampradayini Suppini Suddapoosani focusing on dark comedy and mystery within a family setting, while Mrithyunjay centers on investigative storytelling involving unexplained deaths.

International franchises and documentaries are also part of the slate. Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord explores a darker sci-fi narrative within a well-known universe, while Untold: Chess Mates presents a documentary-style investigation into a unique chess-related dispute.
