Pakistani actress and educator Tazeen Hussain has shared insights into why she took several years before entering a second marriage, saying the period helped her grow emotionally and better understand herself.
Tazeen Hussain, daughter of legendary actor Talat Hussain, recently tied the knot again after remaining a single mother for around five years following the death of her first husband due to illness. Her recent marriage has been widely welcomed by fans, who have expressed love and support for her new journey.
Speaking about her personal experience, the actress revealed that she met her current husband through a social connection on Instagram. The introduction was facilitated by a close friend who believed both individuals were going through similar phases of loneliness and could find companionship in each other.
Tazeen Hussain explained that the decision to remarry did not come quickly, as she needed time to heal and reflect on her life after loss. She said that loneliness, although difficult, allowed her to rediscover her identity, question her emotions, and understand herself on a deeper level.
The actress added that those five years of solitude played an important role in transforming her personality. She described herself today as a more self-aware and emotionally stable individual compared to the person she was during her first marriage.
Tazeen Hussain further stated that she is now content and at peace with her life. She emphasized that personal growth requires time and patience, and only after completing that journey did she feel ready to give love another chance.
