British Deputy Head of Mission visits Oman Consulate in Karachi, discuss diplomatic cooperation

British Deputy Head of Mission, Tom Berg, visited the Consulate of Oman in Karachi, where he held a meeting with the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Consul General of Oman, Engineer Sami Abdullah Al Khanjari.

During the meeting, both sides engaged in a detailed discussion on the bilateral relations between Pakistan, the United Kingdom, and the Sultanate of Oman. They emphasized the importance of strengthening diplomatic cooperation, promoting regional harmony, and advancing shared interests.

Engineer Sami Abdullah Al Khanjari congratulated Mr. Tom Berg on his recent posting in Karachi and extended his best wishes for a successful tenure. Both dignitaries reaffirmed their commitment to further enhancing bilateral ties and exploring new avenues of cooperation among the three nations.

The discussion also highlighted the significance of fostering high-level diplomatic engagements and building stronger connections to support regional stability and collaboration.

Mr. Tom Berg was warmly received with traditional Omani hospitality, including Omani kahwa and dates. As a gesture of goodwill, the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps presented him with an honorary shield.

The meeting marks an important step forward in strengthening diplomatic relations and exploring new opportunities for collaboration between the United Kingdom, Oman, and Pakistan.
