Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said on Saturday that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) did not want the imposition of governor’s rule in any province of the country, and that it would not allow any ‘unconstitutional’ step in K.
Speaking to the media at Sukkur airport, he said that there were clear instructions from PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to oppose any unconstitutional step in the province.
The chief minister said that incidents of terrorism were taking place in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). “In these circumstances, PTI leaders must think in which direction they are heading by insisting on a long march,” he added.
The chief minister said that the PPP would welcome if talks between the government and the PTI remained successful.
He informed that he was heading to China on Monday. “I will sign 15 memorandums of understanding (MoU) during my stay there,” he said, adding that some important agreements would be signed related to investment in Thar Coal.
“Progress will also be made on setting up plants in Sindh for the production of EV scooties,” CM Murad informed.
