SRINAGAR: Following the Pahalgam incident, members of the Sikh community and Sikh activists have expressed solidarity with Pakistan.
After the Pahalgam episode, India faced growing criticism, while Pakistan’s position received attention at the international level. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also faced criticism both domestically and internationally.
Khalistan movement leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, while expressing solidarity with Pakistan after the Pahalgam incident, stated that Pakistan represents purity and that millions of Sikhs stand with Pakistan.
Reports suggest that concerns have been raised over alleged involvement of India’s intelligence agency in incidents targeting Sikh leaders globally. In the United States, India also faced criticism over an alleged plot involving Sikh leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun.
According to international analysts, developments following the Pahalgam incident have led to increased diplomatic engagement for Pakistan, while raising broader discussions at the global level.
