Pakistan, Egypt call for continued dialogue to promote regional peace

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a late-night telephone conversation with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty to discuss the current regional situation and ongoing diplomatic efforts.

According to the Foreign Office, the two leaders reviewed initiatives being facilitated by Pakistan to ease tensions and support dialogue in the region. They agreed that diplomacy remains the most effective path toward resolving conflicts and preventing further instability.

Both sides stressed the need for continued and meaningful engagement among countries to promote peace and stability, not only in the region but also beyond. They highlighted that sustained communication and cooperation are essential to addressing emerging challenges.

The conversation reflects Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic outreach aimed at encouraging peaceful solutions through negotiation and mutual understanding.
