LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf President Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has firmly denied reports claiming that he is planning to join the Pakistan People’s Party.
Speaking to journalists, Elahi dismissed the speculation outright and said he has no association with the PPP. He made it clear that the circulating reports about his possible shift to the party were baseless.
The rumours began after Elahi attended the wedding ceremony of the son of Opposition Leader Mian Riaz Qureshi. His presence at the event sparked talk of a potential political move, prompting questions from the media.
However, Elahi’s clear statement has put an end to the speculation, as he reiterated that he has no connection with the PPP.
