Rallies held across Gilgit-Baltistan to mark first anniversary of Maarka-e-Haq

Rallies and ceremonies were held across Gilgit city and other districts on the completion of one year of Maarka-e-Haq, with participants paying tribute to the Pakistan Army and commemorating the success of Operation Bunyan Al-Marsoos.

In Gilgit city, special events were organised on Tuesday morning under the auspices of various educational, social, political and literary organisations. Following the ceremonies, participants gathered in the form of rallies and marched towards Yadgar Chowk, where a central event was held.

Speakers at the gathering highlighted themes of unity, courage and future national strategy, while commending the armed forces for their role in the operation. They paid tribute to the Pakistan Army for the success of Operation Bunyan Al-Marsoos, marking its first anniversary.

Addressing the ceremony, Gilgit-Baltistan Caretaker Home Minister Sajid Ali Baig said that India would not forget the response and outcome of the operation, referring to what he described as the bravery of Pakistan’s armed forces. He outlined the achievements of the operation and stressed the importance of youth participation in national development.

Participants also expressed gratitude for the success of the operation and offered special prayers for the country’s development, stability and prosperity.

The event concluded with participants raising slogans in support of the Pakistan Army and acknowledging the contributions of the armed forces.
