Ishaq Dar says national unity proved Pakistan’s greatest strength during ‘Marka-e-Haq’

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Thursday said Pakistan’s unity during “Marka-e-Haq” demonstrated that no force in the world can destabilize a nation that stands united.

In a special message marking the first anniversary of the operation, he described the occasion as a defining chapter in the country’s history, symbolizing courage, unity, and unwavering resolve.

Paying tribute to the Pakistani nation and the armed forces, Dar said the unity displayed by the people during the conflict emerged as the country’s greatest strength.

He praised the leadership of the Field Marshal and commended the bravery of military officers and soldiers for giving a decisive response to the enemy.

The deputy prime minister said Pakistan exercised its right to self-defence by responding to aggression in a balanced and effective manner, claiming that several military targets, including Indian fighter aircraft, were successfully hit.

He added that Pakistan had sent a clear message to the world that it would never compromise on its sovereignty.

Highlighting diplomatic efforts, Dar said Pakistan effectively presented its position at the international level through proactive diplomacy.

He stated that despite Indian aggression last year, Pakistan had demonstrated restraint and responsibility.

He reiterated that lasting peace in South Asia is not possible without resolving core disputes, particularly the Kashmir issue in accordance with United Nations resolutions.

The foreign minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace while warning that any threat to national security would be met with full force.

He also expressed confidence that Pakistan would continue to strengthen itself economically, educationally, and strategically in the years ahead.
