Pakistani actress Sajal Aly has reposted a much thought-provoking video on her Instagram story which makes one ponder regarding the dreadful realities of life and how the Almighty has provided for us such eminent life lessons which help us find solace among the daily struggles we face.
During the span of the video, one can hear a supremely sweet voiced woman talking about how different Surahs teach us different lessons.
She starts with Surah Nuh and reveals that this particular surah teaches us that we can not save every person. Dwelling upon this, this is such a crucial life lesson. Even though one might try their level best to support their loved ones, we have to realize that everything is indeed in His hands, and all we can do is let Him unfold chapters of life as He desires, we can only offer support in the form of what is in our power.
Moving on, she then talks about Surah Al Aaraf reflecting on how it teaches us that miracles only happen to those who don’t have pride and arrogance in their hearts. A pure heart does not contain ego and pride in its core. Because who are we to take pride in our existence when all of us are creations of the Almighty?
Surah Yousuf teaches us that problems can arise from your own households as well and this is rather true. The Almighty teaches us to only rely on him because even our loved ones can betray us but He is with us through thick and thin.
Surah Maryam teaches us that often times one would want for their existence to be eradicated, however, one should never neglect hope and trust in Allah because ‘mayoosi’ (despair) is haram.
Lastly, Surah Behim reflects on how our very own father can watch us standing in the fire and do nothing about it. Now what other proof do we need to realize the magnificence and generosity of the Almighty? Because when we have no one, we have Him always looking after us.
