The Cabinet Division on Thursday released the Toshakhana record for the first quarter of 2026, detailing gifts received by senior government officials and state officeholders between January and March.
T he record shows that President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and the chairman of the Senate were among the senior officials who received foreign gifts during the first quarter of the current year.
The report stated that all gifts received by the officials were deposited in the Toshakhana in accordance with official procedures.
First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari and Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari were also included among those who received gifts, while Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Cheema and Federal Minister for Information Technology Shaza Fatima were also listed in the record.
Other officials named in the list included Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, Prime Minister’s spokesperson for foreign media Musharraf Ali Zaidi, NAB Chairman Lieutenant General (retd) Nazir Ahmed, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi.
The list also included Senator Saleem Mandviwalla and special assistant Haroon Akhtar Khan, the president’s military secretary, principal staff officer, spokesperson, and chief security officer.
Officials attached to the Prime Minister’s Office, including Military Secretary Major General Tajdeed Mumtaz, Principal Staff Officer Anas Iqbal Goraya, personal physician Lieutenant Colonel Zohaib Awan and Political Secretary Murad Khan, were also named in the quarterly record.
Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch, Climate Change Secretary Aisha Humera, the managing director of OPF and Economic Affairs Secretary Hameer Karim also received gifts during the period.
According to the report, the gifts included watches, jewellery sets, paintings, shields, tea sets, ties, decorative items, swords, necklaces, mobile phones, T-shirts, books and traditional clothing.
The Cabinet Division stated that the valuation process for the received gifts is currently under way.
The government had previously made public the Toshakhana records covering the period from 2002 to December 2025, while records from 1997 to 2001 had also already been released.
