Court acquits PM Shehbaz’s daughter and son-in-law in NAB corruption reference

The FIA Special Central Court has ordered the acquittal of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s daughter Rabia Imran and son-in-law Ali Imran Yousuf in the NAB reference on alleged corruption in Punjab Power Development Company (PPDC), it was reported on Wednesday.

According to the channel report, Judge Ashfaq Ahmad pronounced the decision approving the petition for acquittal of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s daughter and son-in-law.

During the hearing on Wednesday, the NAB officer said that the accused were implicated on the basis of misunderstanding, and we do not want their arrest.
