The military’s media wing, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) has organized a special national security and strategic leadership 2026 workshop, it was reported on Saturday.
The workshop was attended by vice-chancellors, registrars, deans and senior professors from over 200 universities across the country.
Lieutenant General (retd) Amir Riaz held a special session with the workshop participants. He said persecution of minorities in India is turning into a persistent pattern. He said India presents a secular face to the world, while internally minorities, especially Muslims, are subjected to cruelty and brutality.
Amir Riaz said atrocities against minorities in India receive full support and sanction from both the government and judiciary.
