The Pakistani Embassy in Azerbaijan organised an essay writing competition at Azerbaijan Language University as part of celebrations marking the 150th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
According to the embassy, more than 30 Azerbaijani students participated in the competition, demonstrating keen interest in the life, vision and contributions of Pakistan’s founding father.
An award ceremony was held following the competition, where the top three students were recognised for their outstanding essays.
Chargé d’Affaires of the Pakistani Embassy in Baku, Sara Ijaz, distributed prizes among the winning students. The Pro-Rector of Azerbaijan Language University also attended the ceremony.



The embassy said prizes, certificates and diplomas were awarded to successful participants in recognition of their performance and contribution to the event.
The competition was organised as part of a series of activities being held to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam and to promote academic and cultural engagement between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
