Mahira Khan accepts that lead heroine roles may not last forever

Pakistani superstar and acclaimed actress Mahira Khan has said she is thoroughly enjoying the current phase of her life and is not concerned about a time when she may no longer be offered lead heroine roles.

Speaking during a special session titled “From Story to Character” at a literary and cultural event held in Dubai, Mahira Khan shared her views on various aspects of her personal and professional journey.

The actress said she values both success and the love she receives from her fans, describing her connection with supporters as extremely important. She added that while she appreciates the affection and admiration shown by people, she understands that fame and success do not last forever.

Mahira noted that this awareness keeps her focused on her work rather than on the temporary nature of popularity.

Speaking confidently about her career, she said she is enjoying her current age and stage of life and is not worried about the possibility of no longer being cast in traditional heroine roles in the future.

She remarked that such a transition may not be far away and that she is completely comfortable with the idea.
