An anti-terrorism court in Islamabad has issued non-bailable arrest warrants (NBWs) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi in connection with October 4, 2025 protest case in which a policeman embraced martyrdom.

Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra heard the case on Monday and also declared former opposition leader Omar Ayub, Amir Mughal, Hafeezur Rehman, and others as proclaimed offenders.

During proceedings, the court maintained the arrest warrants issued against CM Sohail Afridi and confirmed its earlier decision declaring former opposition leader Omar Ayub, Aamir Mughal, Hafeez-ur-Rehman and others as proclaimed offenders.
