ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, during which both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to regional peace and stability.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pakistan, Ishaq Dar reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to promoting peace and stability in the region during the discussion with his Iranian counterpart.
A spokesperson said Abbas Araghchi appreciated Pakistan’s continued support in advancing the peace process and thanked Islamabad for facilitating the safe return of Iranian personnel and fishermen to their homeland.
Both leaders also agreed to remain in close contact and continue coordination on matters of mutual interest.
