Kuwaiti FM arrives in Islamabad for talks on bilateral, regional cooperation

Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah arrived in Islamabad on Tuesday on an official visit on the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.

According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, the visiting foreign minister was received at Islamabad International Airport by Additional Secretary (Middle East) Zahid Hussain.

During the visit, Pakistan and Kuwait will hold delegation-level talks covering all areas of bilateral relations. The discussions will also focus on regional and global issues of mutual interest.

The Foreign Office spokesperson said the two sides would explore ways to enhance cooperation across various sectors and strengthen bilateral ties.

The spokesperson described the visit as a reflection of the longstanding brotherly relations, mutual trust and close friendship between Pakistan and Kuwait, expressing confidence that the talks would contribute to expanding cooperation and deepening the partnership between the two countries.
