Pakistani drama Zanjeerain has sparked a fresh wave of frustration among viewers after BTS clips from upcoming scenes were leaked online, revealing moments before they officially aired.
The leaked clips quickly spread across social media, with viewers complaining that important scenes were being revealed before they could watch them in the actual episodes. The situation has also raised concerns among people associated with the drama, who questioned how unreleased material was making its way online.
Actor Usman Javed, who plays Torsam Khan in Zanjeerain, was among those who reacted to the leaks. Commenting on one of the viral clips, he wrote, “Who is responsible for this blunder? They must be from the set of Zanjeerain.” Tagging HUM TV Pakistan, he urged those responsible to stop, pointing out that such leaks could affect the time and hard work put in by the entire team.
Media commentator Ejaz Waris also joined the discussion and alleged that someone associated with HUM TV could be behind the leaked footage. He criticised the circulation of scenes that had not yet aired and questioned why such material was being shared publicly before viewers could experience it through the drama.
Ejaz Waris also criticised a hug scene involving Sarbuland and Rabiya, saying he felt the characters appeared excessively close. He compared the scene with Indian television dramas and questioned whether the sequence had gone too far. His remarks reflected his personal opinion about the scene and were not an official assessment of the drama.
As speculation about the leaked footage continued, young actor Qassim Mughal found himself jokingly caught up in the discussion. Sharing a humorous video, he wrote, “Sab ko shaq hai BTS videos maine leak kiye hain,” meaning, “Everyone suspects that I leaked the BTS videos.” The post appeared to be a humorous response to the speculation surrounding the leaked footage.
Actress Rabya Kulsoom, however, took a more serious view of the issue. Reacting to the growing trend of behind-the-scenes leaks, she said such incidents could harm people involved in a production in different ways. She also called on production houses and television channels to introduce stricter regulations to prevent unreleased material from being shared without permission.
Fans also voiced their frustration, with one sarcastically writing, “Haan sab pehle spoil kardo, phir dekhne mein kya mazaaaaaa aayegaaaaa,” meaning, “Yes, spoil everything beforehand, then what fun will there be in watching?”
Another urged action against those responsible, while a fan jokingly suggested handing the leaker over to Torsam’s uncle.
With Zanjeerain entering an intense phase, viewers are clearly hoping to enjoy its upcoming twists without having them spoiled online.
