Pakistani singer Sara Altaf has released her new patriotic song ‘Shukriya Pakistan’ ahead of Independence Day, adding a new musical tribute to the country’s August 14 celebrations.
The milli Nagma brings together a team of Pakistani artists, with lyrics by Imran Anees, music by Nazar Abbas and a video directed by Mubashir Riaz.
The song’s lyrics have been penned by Imran Anees, while Nazar Abbas has composed and arranged the music. The final mix and mastering for the patriotic release have been handled by Ali Asghar.
The video for Shukriya Pakistan has been directed by Mubashir Riaz, giving the song a visual component alongside its patriotic theme. Sara Altaf leads the vocals, bringing the different creative elements together for the Independence Day release.
With its national theme, Shukriya Pakistan joins the many patriotic songs released around August 14 each year. Such milli Nagmas have long been part of Pakistan’s Independence Day celebrations, giving singers and musicians an opportunity to express their love for the country through music.
The release comes ahead of Pakistan’s Independence Day, as celebrations and special programmed begin taking shape across the country.
