The National Database and Registration Authority and the National Forensics Agency have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening cooperation in identity protection, biometrics and forensic services.
Under the agreement, the two institutions will work together by leveraging their respective capabilities and technical expertise in identity verification and forensic analysis.
The cooperation is expected to improve access to identity and forensic services in complex cases and support more effective crime investigation and law enforcement operations.
The framework will also facilitate closer coordination between the two agencies in areas involving biometric identification and forensic examination.
Officials said the partnership is expected to contribute to national security, law and order and the functioning of the justice system.
