Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi has expressed concern over Imran Khan’s health and demanded strict implementation of court orders regarding his treatment.
Addressing the 57th provincial cabinet meeting, the chief minister said the federal government violated the Supreme Court’s order on Imran Khan’s treatment and brought him to the hospital secretly at night and indicated it an insult to the judiciary and urging the courts to ensure justice.
Sohail Afridi said Imran Khan’s health had deteriorated under the supervision of the federal government, adding that he was healthy when he was arrested and had later been kept in solitary confinement for eight to nine months.
Meanwhile, the chief minister announced that the KP government would soon launch merit based Electric vehical bike scheme for women, including working women and college and university students.
He also announced plans for an EV rickshaw scheme and directed authorities to speed up work on electric bus projects at divisional headquarters.
