ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephone conversation on Saturday with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, during which the two leaders discussed efforts to ease tensions with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.
The prime minister called Fazlur Rehman to congratulate him on performing Umrah.
During the conversation, Shehbaz Sharif invited the JUI chief to the Prime Minister’s House for a meeting.
Fazlur Rehman accepted the invitation, and the meeting is expected soon.
The JUI chief also discussed easing tensions with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government with the Prime Minister.
