KARACHI: Anmol, alias Pinky, has filed an acquittal application in two drug recovery cases pending against her in Karachi.
A court in Karachi heard three drug recovery cases against the accused, who appeared before the court via video link.
During the hearing, statements of three witnesses, including the investigation officer, were recorded. The defence counsel sought time to cross-examine the witnesses.
The court adjourned further hearings in the cases until October 31.
Meanwhile, an application seeking Anmol Pinky’s acquittal in two of the cases was filed, requesting the court to discharge her from the charges.
According to the court proceedings, Anmol Pinky has already been acquitted in five of the 22 cases against her.
