LAHORE: The National College of Arts (NCA), in collaboration with the National Commission on the Status of Women (NCSW), organized an art and photography competition and exhibition. Students from NCA actively participated, presenting their unique perspectives through painting and photography.
The competition aimed to provide students with an opportunity to understand contemporary issues faced by women and express their views creatively. The artworks were displayed at the Zahoor-ul-Akhlaq Gallery at NCA.
The competition addressed themes such as violence against women, women’s political representation, economic empowerment, challenges faced by women with special needs, health and reproductive rights, and the role of women in Pakistan’s digitalization.
Organizers emphasized that the exhibition plays a crucial role in highlighting significant issues women face on both social and cultural levels.
