ISLAMABAD: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and all public and private financial institutions across the country will remain closed on Wednesday, December 25, 2024.
In a notification issued by the central bank, it was announced that December 25 would be observed as a public holiday in honour of the 148th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan.
December 25 holds significant cultural and historical value in Pakistan. Quaid-e-Azam Day is marked by ceremonies, tributes, and reflections on the ideals and vision of the nation’s founder.
